Flat Time House, London
June/ July 2015.
Using house-bound experimentation to explore the blurring of life and work. Plastic pet food packaging is oven shrunk, pewter casts of money are made on the house barbecue and sculptures are made from objects left behind by previous Flat Time House artists-in-residence. Other ceramic ornaments are smashed and reassembled and in the garden a sand sculpture of a brick barbecue is infused with pet deterrent spray. This exhibition developed out of a residency at Flat Time House, London, the artist John Latham’s former home and studio.
