Sandwiches and Pizzas in resin
2017/8.
This series of resin works made between 2017 and 2020 started with supermarket sandwiches encapsulated in clear cast resin. The on-the-go character of the sandwich trapped or captured in a glassy wedge. This was followed up with a selection of readymade cheese and tomato frozen pizzas baked with a range of mood crystal toppings, and again, cast in clear resin. This idea came from the way that personality reflects, and is reflected in, the pizza toppings we choose
